2Samen trains employees to become children’s talent whisperers. Our fifth Talent Day took place on October 5! In addition to our employees, colleagues from education and parents also participated. That made this edition extra successful. Writer and speaker Luk Dewulf took us into the world of talent on 5 October! Because everyone has it, you just have to learn to recognize it and use it in the right way.

RKBS De Vuurvlinder, JongLeren and 2Samen set up the Diamant Ukraine School last May so that Ukrainian children in the Netherlands can go to school. Now we have also ensured that the Haagse Hout summer school could start in a short time!

The sun is shining, the temperature is rising and the children are off school: it’s summer! For many children, the summer holidays are the perfect time to go outside, discover nature and play all day long. Not going to school for a while, how cool is that? 2Samen has been working a long time towards putting together a spectacular program for the children in the holidays. On Monday, Alderman Bredemeijer (Education) opened the Diamant Ukrainian School in Mariahoeve. This new, temporary school is a collaboration between primary school De Vuurvlinder (Lucas Onderwijs), 2Vlinders (Kinderopvang 2Samen) and playgroup ‘t Vlindertje (JongLeren). At the moment, education and childcare is offered to approximately 70 Ukrainian children between 2 and 13 years old.
